Sammy tilted his head. "Really?"
"Really" Michelle tilted her head back at him.
"Sit down"
"I was in the mob, you knew that, right?"
Michelle nodded.
"okay"
"I had this...boyfriend and his name was Mony Ashland. He was...well he wasn't...he dumped me and he called me Sam and then...I didn't like it"
"Liiiiaaarrrr" Gina sang out.
"Shut up, assface"
"I'm telling mom"
"Mom doesn't live here anymore. In fact, you might just not live anymore." He teased his sister.
Gina gulped.
"He was in the mob, and these guys always called him 'Sammy the killa' or some crap like that and then he met Koi and he called him Sammy all the time
and then he was gonna kill anyone who called him Sam or whatever and...its stupid, really" Gina put the spoon filled with Fruit Loops and milk into her mouth.
Michelle nodded. "Can I take a break?" To which Sammy nodded. "Sit on the couch with me" He scooted over to make room for his maid.
Gina made her way over there, too, carrying her bowl.
Michelle smiled, seeing them on the couch together. "Photo opportunity." She laughed. "We look like a family"
Sammy raised his eyebrow at this. "A normal family you mean. In which the kid has a mom and a dad. Hell, Gina's not
even my kid." He laughed.
"Sammy?" Michelle looked at her boss. "Are you Mexican?"
Sammy shook his head. "French-American"
"We're all American, Sammy"
"Yeah, but I wasn't born here"
"Neither was I"
"No?"
"Canada, but I was born there, that’s all. I can't remember any of that shit"
Sammy nodded and leaned in so he could see Gina. "You remember when we came to America?"
Gina shook her head. "I remember when you came here and then mom and me came like...a year later"
"Mom and I" Michelle corrected her.
"Sorry" Gina shrugged.
Michelle shrugged and smiled.
Sammy laid down, his head in Michelle's lap.
"oooooh" This came from Gina.
Michelle rolled her eyes. "Yeah right, I haven't seen anyone gaye-" She cut herself off. "More homosexual than your brother"
"I have" Gina put her bowl in the sink in the kitchen.
"You have not!"
"I have!" Gina sat on the couch again. "Ever hear of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy?"
"They're not really gay, Gina. Its a total sham!"
"Have you ever walked in on..." Gina looked at Sammy. "Them?"
Sammy snorted.
Michelle shook her head.
"I have" Gina shuddered. "I'll never forget it, either. Like seein' somebody die. You don't forget it"
"You've never seen anyone die." Sammy informed her.
Michelle pet Sammy's hair. "You gotta go"
Sammy furrowed his brow. "Its only 15 minutes away. We've got like..20 more minutes."
Michelle shrugged and continued petting her boss.
"That’s why I love living with Sammy" Gina sighed, hugging her knees. "Mom and I would have been in the Doctor's office like...an hour ago." She laughed.
Sammy nodded. "Another fine reason I chased Koi all over Europe"
"I thought it was because you loved him?" Michelle asked.
"That’s why I said 'Another'"
"oh. duh"
Hours passed until it was 3 in the afternoon. Gina had left the Doctor's with a clean bill of health, Sammy found it all quite boring, matter of fact.
"Damn it all to hell" Sammy cursed, moving his small, metal dog onto the 'Jail' corner of the Monopoly board.
"Your just jealous because I got 'Free Parking' " Gina gloated, moving her horse piece.
"You just took tax payers money is all"
"Your still jealous"
"I hate you"
Michelle laughed at this. "I wish my brother was as cool as you, Sammy"
"Your kiddin' me!" Gina stood up from the wooden seat in front of the kitchen table. "Sammy's definitely NOT cool" She sat back down after Sammy
shot her a look.
